Know Which South Shore Bar/Restaurant Has Bruce Springsteen's Guitar on the Wall?

HELLO SUMMER!
Summer kicked off on Thursday. So welcome to the first weekend of summer (dang that feels good to say)! Thanks for reading while you bask in the early summer glow! And what a kickoff we had, with a heat wave for much of Massachusetts. Hope you survived it ok. I’ll try to keep you cool by thinking about ice cream cones the whole time I type this week’s edition.
Getting Mini in Duxbury
The Chestnut Street Grille, lovingly known as “The Nut” to regulars, is a great everyone’s-welcome-type bar and restaurant. It’s bright, it’s comfortable, and they’re serving up yummy food - but - are you privy to the two MINI’s within the Nut?
Mini Beers.
Mini Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Yes, The Boss’s guitar dons the wall here.
We went this week, made some new friends, and had a great meal. Check out our quick Only-Love Nut review:
Levitate Music Festival Prepares to Jam On for 11th Time in Marshfield

For three days, Marshfield is home to an epic celebration that grows even more epic every year: Levitate Music & Arts Festival!
Levitate eloquently describes the now-mongo festival as a “music + art lovechild that was born out of our surf shop basement and has grown into the Northeast's largest, most unique music and arts festival!”
This year’s performer rundown includes some definite treats: Dirty Heads, The Elovaters, Mt. Joy, and G. Love & Special Sauce all stand out to me. Sublime is a crazy big name. Oliver Anthony has been buzzy for a bit. Lake Street Dive is killer. And don’t sleep on the smaller names - so much great music this year.
It’s July 5-7 at the Marshfield Fairgrounds and you can purchase tickets HERE.

Enjoy ‘Evenings Under the Stars’ with South Shore Conservatory
South Shore Conservatory announced the lineup for their popular ‘Evening Under the Stars’ summer series. Concerts are held every Saturday evening in July. Check their website for show times.
This summer’s theme is “Sounds of collaboration” and attendees will be treated to unforgettable symphonic mash-ups performed live. Gershwin meets Queen. Nirvana meets Ellington.
Concerts are held on the grounds of South Shore Conservatory’s Carr Amphitheater in Hingham.
Next Stop on our Farmer’s Market Tour? Hanover!
Hanover Farmer’s Market had a Father’s Day farmer’s market last weekend and we were there to check it out! Mom on the Go food truck was there flippin’ grilled cheese, Sweetie’s Shaved Ice was serving up everyone’s sweet cooldown treats, and the vendors were out in full force. And what a great line-up! There was local music and Mother Nature couldn’t have been kinder.
Great to see everybody at Hanover Farmer’s Market! It’s open the 3rd Sunday of every month (May-November) at Hanover High School.
Check out our peak at the market here:
